CREO: Made to be fearless

CREO: Made to be fearless

"Come to the edge," he said.
"We're comfortable back here," they said.
"Come to the edge," he said.
"It's too high," they said.
"Come to the edge," he said.
"We're afraid," they said.
These opening words of a poem, penned by Christopher Logue, paint a picture of fear many people have experienced, which may be one of the reasons why his poem is shared often in meme form, or as framed work on office walls. It is relatable.

Fear can enable our brains to detect a threat to our egos or psychological safety that does not exist in reality, (False Evidence Appears Real) making us feel anxious, stressed, worried, adopt an imposter syndrome or become hyper vigilant.

We must then challenge ourselves when fear creeps in and attempts to stop us from pursuing what is meaningful and important to us.  As a budding company, the team at CREO strives to support and challenge one another as we take steps in expanding the CREO vision.  Christoper Logue's closing words help us (and perhaps you in your own endeavors) to push forward:

"Come to the edge," he said.
And they did.
And he pushed them. And they flew."
